Which file is right for me?
EPS (Adobe Illustrator) - An EPS file is typically used by designers and printers who need to be able to scale the logo to various sizes. It requires a specific type of software to open (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop Software for example). EPS files allow printers and designers more flexibility when working on a project and provides the highest quality image possible for the Washington Beer logo. This is the recommended version for all projects when possible.
PDF - PDF’s are a higher quality version of the file that is far more versatile than a standard JPEG. It is best to use a PDF file in most occasions when the native (original design file: AI, EPS, PSD) is unavailable or the file size is too big to send via FTP/email. High-quality PDF’s also work great when working on projects that will be printed by a professional printer.
JPEG (or JPG, if you’re a three-letter extension kind of person) - A JPEG is a compressed bitmap (pixel based) image. We are providing high-resolution JPEGs for your use. If you need the logo to be scaled to a larger size, please use the PDF version above instead or contact us to request a larger JPEG. Do not scale these images to a larger size, as image quality will be lost. The EPS version is preferred over the JPEG version for print projects. Also, JPEG isn’t recommended if you’re going to be editing the file repeatedly — it’s really a final-version file format. If you’re going to be editing the file in the future, consider EPS.
WMF (Windows Metafile Format) - WMF was introduced by Microsoft and is best used when working on a project using Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word and Publisher.

Full Color Logo: This logo is the one we prefer to be used at all times if possible.
Two Color Logo: This logo works best when only two colors are allowed.
Reversed Two Color Logo: When a dark background is present, we recommend using this logo.
We understand that some projects may have color limitations so to keep consistency with the Washington Beer brand, we have provided the following versions:
Grayscale Logo (prints with one color for offset printing, two colors for screeen printing): Use this logo for any projects that only allow black & white or graysale printing.
Reversed Grayscale Logo (prints with one color for offset printing, two colors for screeen printing): If your project has a dark background and is only black & white or grayscale, use this logo.
