The Washington Beer Commission is proud to present a brand new tasting festival this fall! The inaugural South Sound IPA Festival will take place on Saturday, October 18th at Union Station in Tacoma. This intimate event will feature 24 Washington breweries pouring 50+ IPA’s during two tasting sessions. The 1st session will run Noon to 4:00pm and the second session from 5:30pm to 9:30pm on Saturday, October 18th.

We’re seeking a select number of volunteers to assist with this event. Volunteers will receive a glass and admission to the event after their volunteer shift. Third shift volunteers will be able to taste during the last hour of the event and receive admission to a future WA Beer Commission event. The following volunteer shifts are available:

Saturday, October 18th. 
1st Shift: 10:00 AM- 1:30 PM
2nd Shift: 12:30 PM-3:30 PM
3rd Shift: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.

Volunteer jobs may vary depending on demand, but may include any of the following: pouring beer, ticket admission, token stuffing or working at the merchandise/WABL table. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email us, with your 1st and 2nd shift preferences. Volunteer shifts are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Volunteer shifts are limited.
