What is WABL?

WABL is the official WAshington Beer Lover (WABL) membership program. You get rewarded for visiting breweriesand collecting stamps with the WABL Passport on the Washington Beer mobile app.

How much is it to sign up and what do I get?

It is $30 to sign up the first time and only $25 to renew each year on your anniversary. You will receive a yearlong membership from the day you sign up, a WABL t-shirt that displays all of the breweries in the state on the back, a quarterly subscription to SIP Magazine and exclusive access to deals at Washington Breweries! You will also get a great prize when you have collected 20 stamps and if you get to 50 stamps in a year you can renew your membership for FREE! The 20 stamp prize changes each year and is only redeemable at Washington Beer tasting festivals or at WABL events around the region. You can redeem your 50 stamp free membership right through the WABL Passport on the mobile app.

How do I collect a stamp?

Head to your local brewery, pull up the WABL Passport in the Washington Beer mobile app and simply click “Stamp My Passport”.

It won’t let me collect my stamp. What do I do?

When you click “Stamp My Passport” but no stamp appears you will see a screen asking you to submit a Manual Stamp Request. Choose the brewery you are at from the list of nearby breweries on the screen, and simply take a selfie with you, your beer and the brewery’s branding in the background and click submit. We will approve your request within 2-3 business days.

What if the brewery I am at isn’t on the list of breweries to request a Manual Stamp Request for? How do I get my stamp.

Take a selfie with you, your beer and the brewery’s branding in the background WABL Deals and save it on your phone. Email [email protected] and let us know the name of the new brewery. We will get it added to the passport and once added, you will be able to submit a Manual Stamp Request to collect the stamp.

How do I get my 20 stamp prize?

Sorry, but we do not mail out the 20 stamp prizes. These prizes are readily available to be picked up at Washington Beer tasting festivals and unique WABL events that are announced in the monthly WABL newsletter. Make sure to come to the WABL booth at a festival and pick up your prize!

How do I redeem my 50 stamps for my Free WABL Membership?

To redeem your 50 stamps, you will have to go to the “Rewards” tab in the WABL passport, click the Free WABL Membership option, type in your information and click “submit”. Your free membership is only added when you redeem your reward. We cannot add your free membership to your account if you didn’t redeem your 50 stamps before your anniversary expiration date.

I signed up for WABL, but haven’t received my t-shirt. How do I get that?

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were not able to produce a new WABL shirt this past year. However, we just received our new WABL shirt and 20 stamp prize that will be available for the rest of 2021 and all of 2022. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to send the shirts out, but are working to ship these out down the road. Both your membership shirt and 20 Stamp Prize trucker hat are only available at Washington Beer festivals and specialty WABL events that are listed in your monthly WABL newsletter.

When does my new membership start?

Your WABL membership lasts 365 days. You are able to see your expiration date of your current membership at the top of the screen on the homepage of the WABL Passport. When you renew your membership or redeem your 50 stamps for the free membership, your membership actually won’t reset until your anniversary renewal date. That means any stamps collected between your redemption date (the day you click submit for the 50 stamp prize) and your actual anniversary date sadly won’t count. When your actual anniversary date hits your stamps will reset and you will again be able to collect toward your 20 and 50 stamp prizes for that year.

My stamps are gone! What happened?

Most likely, your renewal date just hit and your renewed membership just started. When your new membership year starts, your stamps will reset and you will be able to collect 20 and 50 stamp prizes again towards your new membership. You can find your old stamps collected on your old membership in the “expired stamps” tab in the WABL Passport. If you continue to have any troubles with missing stamps, contact [email protected].

How do I use my WABL membership to get deals at breweries?

Head to the WABL Deals section of the Washington Beer mobile app. Once there, you will see a list of participating breweries offering WABL deals. While at one of these breweries just tell the beertender that you are a WABL member and would like to get you WABL deal. You can remind them what the deal is and show them the homepage of you WABL Passport so they know that you are a current member. Enjoy!
