Elliott Bay Brewing - Ode to Darkness 2013
- by Kendall Jones, Washington Beer Blog -
It doesn’t take much fanfare or hoopla to sell every drop of beer Dan Ashley brews at West Seattle’s Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub. In West Seattle we know it simply as The Pub. It is our treasure. It is often a busy place–usually packed with all my westie-besties. And you people living on the other side of the bridge hardly even know it’s here, though you’re always welcome.
Occasionally, we have cause to remind you about it. For instance, today I’m going to tell you about a very special event that brewer Dan Ashley has planned for next week (Tues, Jan. 29). Brewer Dan has graciously arranged for you to sample five year’s worth of his darkest, most-delicious creations. A special appetizer menu has been devised to pair with these special beers.
