Foggy Noggin Brewing

The mastermind behind Foggy Noggin Brewing is Jim Jamison. It all began many, many years ago when Jim’s wife bought him a homebrew kit. After many years of home brewing, Jim and his family began to discuss brewing professionally. In 2008, Foggy Noggin Brewing was founded. It took a lot of work, but the brewery opened in 2010 and began serving beer to the public.

Foggy Noggin brews traditional English-style ales, using recipes compiled by Jim Jamison over his many years as an expert home brewer. This is a nano-brewery located in a residential neighborhood. When visiting, be respectful of the neighbors. Drive slowly, watch for pets and children, and do not block any driveways. The brewery is a tool shed in the backyard. The tasting room is the home’s garage.

The tasting room is open most Saturday afternoons, but you should check with the Foggy Noggin Facebook page to be certain. That is also where you will learn of the beers’ availability away from the tasting room.

Enjoy a pint at the tasting room or get some beer to go. Beer is only sold in growlers (64 ounce glass jug) to go. You can bring your own clean growler for refill or purchase a growler at the tasting room. On occasion, Foggy Noggin goes on tap at an Eastside pub or restaurant. You should keep an eye on the Facebook page for information about the beer’s availability away from the brewery’s tasting room.
