Lazy Boy Brewing
Located in south Everett, not too terribly far from Everett Mall, Lazy Boy Brewing is a brewery with a tasting room that serves up some outstanding beers. Shawn Loring founded Lazy Boy Brewing in 2006.
Shawn is a well-traveled brewer with a lot of experience. He is one of a long line of brewers whose roots reach back to Pike Brewing Company, where he brewed in the early 1990s. In 1994, he opened a brewpub in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Next, he spent a short time at Wynkoop Brewing in Denver.
Returning to the Pacific Northwest, Shawn brewed for Ram Brewing in Puyallup and Seattle. Next stop, he landed in Kent at Druids Brewing, located at Druids Glenn golf course. When Druids Brewing (also known as Maple Valley Brewing for a short time) decided to cease operations, Shawn packed up the brewery and moved it to Everett where he opened Lazy Boy Brewing 2006.
With such a diverse brewing background, it is no surprise that Shawn Loring produces award-winning beers of exceptional character. Lazy Boy Brewing beers are available on tap across the greater Seattle-Everett area and can be found in bottles at better beer retailers around Puget Sound. The third Friday of each month, join Lazy Boy Brewing at the tasting room when they tap into a special batch of cask-conditioned beer. Each month features a different beer.
