I am sad to share the news that Larry's Brewing Supply recently announced that it is closing its doors and going out of business after 26 years. For home brewers and pro brewers alike, this is sad news. Larry's is (was) beloved, venerable, classic, enduring..... the string of adjectives could go on and on. This news will make many, many people very, very sad.

The closeout sale begins on March 13th.

Larry’s Brewing Supply was founded by Larry Rifenberick in 1990, who starting out selling supplies out of his garage. Larry soon thereafter opened the original location in Kent. After 25 years, they moved up the road to Tukwila in 2015. In the mid-90s, Larry expanded the business to include a wholesale division that provided brewing ingredients and supplies to small and mid-sized commercial breweries.

Here is the statement from the company's Facebook page.
We are sad to inform you that Larry’s Brewing Supply will be closing our doors after 26 years. As many of you know Larry’s has come into financial difficulty over the last several months, and after exhausting all our options we are forced to close.

The support we have had over the years from this industry has been amazing! We will take with us all the memories we have shared.

Starting Monday, March 13th our close out sale will begin. Everything will be half off. We ask that you come by to get what you want or just to say goodbye in person.
