Airways Brewing making huge progress on the Bistro

You may or may not know, but the Airways Brewing Bistro in downtown Kent has been undergoing a massive transformation. It's been a work in progress for months now, but the company just announced that they are now cooking in the new kitchen, are ready to introduce a new menu and a new chef, and will soon have the new seating section open for your enjoyment (keep an eye on Facebook).
Here's what they shared in an last week.
First of all, we passed our final health inspection on Monday, and we've moved into our beautiful new kitchen.
Second, we’d like to introduce our new head chef, Jed Lutge. Jed comes to us with years of expertise in the Seattle food and bar scene, and has put together an incredible menu. Over the next few days, we’ll be transitioning over to our new, tasty fare that includes meats from Salumi, bacon smoked on applewood planks, fresh seasonal produce, and delicious cheeses. We’re very excited to bring you an array of upscale bar food that uses high quality, locally sourced ingredients, and flavors that you won’t find anywhere else in Kent.
We’ll be posting on our social media as the new items come online—if you’re stopping by for lunch, or dinner before a hockey game, be the first to try our new food out and let us know what you think. The new seating area won’t be open this weekend, but will be very soon as we get everything organized and up and running.
