It's a heck of a way to celebrate an anniversary. Recently, Airways Brewing turned six. To commemorate the occasion they released some big news, which we talk about below, in addition to the 6th Anniversary Mosaic Pilsner (read about the beer).

The big news, Airways Brewing Company of Kent, Washington announced that it is moving the brewery to a new location. Construction is underway and eventually the existing brewery and taproom on West Valley Highway will be closed. Construction is expected to be completed this spring. The move has no impact on the Airways Beer & Bistro in downtown Kent.

The new brewery and taproom will still be in Kent, but the location of the new 9,000 square-foot brewery allows the Airways Brewing to continue expanding and also offers a more conveniently located and larger taproom for brewery visitors. The location is just off of Highway 167 on 212th Street - incredibly easy access from the freeway. It's not far from the Pony Keg Grill and Bar, for those familiar.

“We’re excited to officially unveil our plans to relocate our brewery and tap room to a larger, more visible location in Kent.” said Alex Dittmar, founder and head brewer at Airways Brewing Company. “We considered many options on how and where to grow, but after an exhaustive search, we’re happy to have found a great space in Kent that will allow us to increase our production, as well as provide a better quality experience for our tap room guests.”
