Lowercase Brewing, located in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood, is about to turn two years old. They’re having a party and you’re invited. The hootenanny takes place on Saturday, January 16. Details below. But that’s not all. Lowercase Brewing is giving itself a very nice birthday present.

For its second birthday, Lowercase Brewing bought a new steam-fired 15-barrel brewing system from Portland Kettle Works. The new system is expected to be up and running by summertime. For now, you can see where they’ll park the new brewhouse.

“Two years ago we opened our doors and started making the best beer we could, and today we couldn’t be more happy with what we have achieved! Please join us for a celebration of the last two years, as well as, a send off for the next two!”

“Much will be afoot. We will be releasing a new beer (part of our brand-new rotational series), showing off the location of our future 15-barrel production brewery, featuring delicious food from the Nibbles crew and having a few live musical acts/special guests to entertain. All and all… its shaping up to be a real hootenannay!”

The anniversary party is a ticketed event. Get more info and tickets here.
