Two years ago Sean Wallner and Arron Wight opened Whitewall Brewing in Smokey Point. The address says, Marysville, but don't let that fool you. Whitewall Brewing is about to celebrate its second anniversary with a special event on Saturday, March 5th. Join them at the brewery's tasting room as they release five barrel-aged beers.

They'll tap into the second iteration of their Anniversary Ale, a Bourbon Barrel Aged English Style Barleywine. Also, Jaywalking Grandma returns: a robust winter ale that spent three months in a bourbon barrel. Jaywalking Grandma is described as an "Imperial candy cane milk stout brewed in collaboration with Middleton Brewing."

They'll also release a Scottish-style ale aged in bourbon barrels and an American-style sour ale that has been aging for two years in a Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel. They also brewed a Rye Saison with Coriander and aged it in wine barrels for two months. Finally, they've been sitting on one keg of the first Anniversry Ale (English-Style Barleywine aged in wine barrels).

If you don't like barrel-aged beers, don't worry. They'll have eight other beers on tap. A food truck will be on site if you want some grub. If you like cigars, San Juan Cigars will be there rolling fresh cigars.
