Schooner Exact Gets Cookin’

Schooner Exact Brewing is really cooking. For months now they’ve been building out the space next to the existing brewery and taproom, adding a kitchen and dining area. The restaurant opened Saturday, November 10.
As we reported in May, Schooner Exact has secured the services of Warren Peterson who will direct the kitchen side of the business. Peterson is a chef who formerly worked for Tom Douglas Restaurants, where he served as Douglas’ Beer Czar. He knows both food and beer. Since last spring, Peterson has been soaking up as much beer knowledge as he can by working around the brewery.

The menu for the opening sounds excellent. Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, a pasta dish and plenty stuff for the kiddos. There is also a dessert menu. The restaurant will serve from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. everyday. For more information visit Schooner Exact’s Facebook page.
