Scuttlebutt opens a new brewpub
-by Kendall Jones, Washington Beer Blog-
Scuttlebutt Brewing‘s brand new pub opened on Everett’s waterfront last Friday. The new pub is spacious compared to the old pub. It offers more than double the seating capacity. The new locations is just a few blocks from the old pub in the Port of Everett’s new Waterfront Center at 1205 Craftsman Way. Back in September we told you about the plan to move to a new location. We were there to celebrate the grand opening. We talked with Matt Stromberg (Head Brewer), Phil Bannan Sr. (owner), Scuttle (Phil’s wife), and others. Basically, chatting it up with three generations of the Bannan family—from Phil Sr. down to eleven-year-old Willie. Opening day at the new pub was an “All Hands On Deck!” affair.
Below we share a couple of photos of the new pub.
