Once again, Washington breweries brought home some impressive hardware from the North American Beer Awards (NABA). Breweries from across the continent submitted over 1,300 beers for the competition. Event organizers recently published the results revealing that 11 Washington breweries were awarded 27 medals. We list the winners below.

The North American Brewers Association sanctions the North American Beer Awards. The event takes place in conjunction with the Mountain Brewers Festival held each spring in Idaho Falls, ID. The competition provides an opportunity for commercially produced beers to be judged against the best beers in the country. The competition is conducted as a single blind sampling followed by rank ordering of the entries within a category.

Red Hook Brewery led the way with five medals. Black Raven Brewing and Sound Brewery were close behind with four medals each. Do not be upset if your favorite beer or brewery is not on the list.
