1. When is the Winter Beer Festival?
A. The Winter Beer Festival is happening Saturday, December 2nd, 2006. The event will open at noon and go on until 10:00pm.
The sales of admission and tasting tickets will stop at 9:15pm and taps will close at 9:30pm so please make your plans accordingly.


2. Where will be the Winter Beer Festival held?
A. The Winter Beer Festival will be held in the Hale’s Palladium at
Hale’s Ales Brewery
in Seattle (4301 Leary Way NW, Seattle, WA 98107).

3. How much is admission and what does it include?
A. Admission is $20 and includes a tasting cup and six 3oz tastes.
Additional tasting tickets are also available at the following prices:
$1.25 each or
$5.00 for 5 tastes or
$10.00 for 12 tastes


4. What payment options are available?
A. We accept cash and checks. Sorry, no credit cards.


5. Are advance tickets available?
A. Yes. Advance tickets are available at $20 and you will receive TEN tastes
when you buy your tickets in advance (that’s FOUR extra tastes).
Tickets are available online now
and at select ticket outlets starting November 1st.


6. What is the Happy Hour deal?

A. Between 12:00-2:00pm you will receive TWO extra tastes.


7. How big is the taste size?
A. Each taste is 3oz, or full taste is 6oz. You will need one tasting ticket for a
3oz taste, or 2 tasting tickets for a 6oz taste.

8. What kinds of beers will be served?
A. The Winter Beer Festival will feature over 30 of big, robust, tasty winter warmers, mostly by Washington breweries. Better yet, the majority of the beers will be actually served by the brewers themselves so you can ask about all the stories behind their fantastic creations.
Please remember, many of the beers served at the Festival have high alcohol content. Please drink moderately and always designate a driver.


9. What else can we except besides beer?
A. In addition to the great beer selection there will be plenty of holiday fun
for all - a Holiday Gift Shop with lots of brewery items, hot cider and rootbeer,
chocolate tasting and holiday music to name a few.


10. Will there be food available during the Festival?
A. Yes, Hale’s Ales Brewery & Pub will be serving its fine pub cuisine for the Festival guests in the Hale’s Palladium. Plus there will a chocolate tasting and pretzels for nibbling. Or, you can also enjoy dining at the Hale's Pub and choose from their full menu. Please remember to have your hand stamped for reentry. Reentry is permitted until the Festival reaches the capacity.


11. Is this a 21+ only event?
A. Yes, the Winter Beer Festival is a 21+ only event and the guest must have a valid picture ID to be admitted and drink beer.


12. What’s WABL and what do I get for joining?
A. WABL is the WAshington Beer Lovers Club and the members will receive many exclusive offers throughout the year, including $2 off the Winter Beer Festival tickets plus the privilege to try a WABL Beer, a special beer brewed by Washington brewers for each Washington Brewers Guild festival that is available EXCLUSIVELY to the WABL members.
